The Circleville Letters
Episode Bio
Our first TRUE CRIME episode! What would run through your head if you received an anonymous letter in the mail one day accusing you of something horrible? What if you received two? 39? What if these letters were involved with a murder, an affair, sexually explicit crimes, a possible cover-up by the local police department, and a famous TV show? It sounds like a lot for a small, quiet town but this is exactly what happened for the better part of almost 20 years to the residents in Circleville, Ohio. The town would never be the same after this and the culprit, or culprits, were never caught. The phantom writer just vanished one day, for good, and the world may never know who was behind those cruel letters of toxic ink. If you love unsolved, true crime stories then this episode is the perfect fit for you!
